Guild members, led by instructor and artist Sue Miller, created artwork using gouache and ink. First a pencil drawing was created by each member. Then gouache was applied on heavy watercolor paper. Ink was applied over the entire drawing, and dried using a hair dryer. Then the artwork was rinsed to remove ink where the gouache had penetrated the paper. The end result: Bravo!!!
The meeting was held during a Midwest blizzard, so all members were not present. However, it was great fun and the members able to attend enjoyed the class and the expert teaching of Sue Miller.
