Her husband encouraged her to paint by inviting guests over to visit her studio and see her artwork. Her daughter helped her do art shows. Estelle remembers: "our first exhibit of paintings was at the Coldwater Public Library 's invitation~ of librarian, Mrs. Weiler. Many doors were opened locally for exhibits. The next memory was of clothesline art exhibits in Kalamazoo's downtown park.....I have exhibited in South Bend, Indiana, winning a place to exhibit in the art gallery. This was followed by the same painting exhibited at Racham Hall, U of M. Currently I'm exhibiting at the Southern Michigan National Bank and the Grahl Center."
Estelle enjoys outdoor painting trips, and has journeyed to Lion's Head, Bryce Peninsula, and beautiful Georgian Bay.
"Thanks to the Coldwater Art Club, now Art Guild, for helping to keep interest alive." Estelle states. .
